Management of water in the Clark Fork River Basin is based first on understanding the water resource and the factors that affect its use, second on developing a management system based on this understanding, and finally on operating the system to achieve specific goals.
1 The Upper Clark Fork Basin Steering Committee is a sub-committee under the Clark Fork Task Force. The purpose of this committee is to carry out its legislative mandate and continue to work on and modify the Upper Clark Fork River Basin Water Management Plan. More information.
